Sophie posted a picture of her gleaming sink, before unveiling the step-by-step process to getting it sparkling clean.

Her stories show she begins by closing the plug on the sink before placing the dish rack inside it and adding fabric softener.
‘Two capfuls of your favourite fabric softener’, her caption states alongside a demonstration.

Sophie then continues by adding a full kettle of boiling water to the sink, submerging the dish rack.
Letting the concoction stand for the evening, the caption reads: ‘Fills the house with the smell of washing. Let it soak for about four hours topping up every so often with boiling water.’

It continues: ‘Once soaked use a scourer to remove any last unwanted build-up.
